About 3,35,794 candidates who appeared in the Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance (EAMCET) of this year and anxiously waiting for the admissions into various Engineering and Medical institutes in Andhra Pradesh will be getting their performance record today as the Andhra Pradesh board (APSCHE) is all geared up to release the results of the said entrance today at around 9:00 am. Around 2,70,022 candidates appeared for the Engineering Stream where as 65,772 appeared for the Medical Stream.
This year the EAMCET exam was designed after taking some inspiration from IIT where some deep understanding of basics & high IQ level was required for the prompt & accurate resolution of the questions. As per the experts, there were around 17 questions in engineering test which were hard to crack and required high level of analytical skills. On the other hand, medical exam was surrounded by the allegations of wrong questions in the test as 6 questions in code A which were 42, 49, 56, 58, 60 and 69 were claimed as wrong where as only 3 were accepted as wrong by the JNTU authorities who are responsible for conducting the exam.
There has been no official update so far on how the marks have been given for the questions which contained errors. Perhaps, all the resolutions of the queries will be provided with the declaration of result. Students can check these results on the official website of JNTU and also on the various results portals, when published after 9:00 am.
