Baseball and Softball: Dominion at Broad Run Games Pushed Back a Day

(May 4, 2011) - A day after falling for the first time this season in Dulles District play, the Broad Run High School baseball team will get an extra day rest as tonight's home game with Dominion has been pushed back a day due to wet field conditions in Ashburn. (Mar. 21, 2011) - The Stone Bridge High School baseball season opener with Chantilly has been postponed until March 30 due to wet playing conditions.

(Mar. 21, 2011) - The wet weather has forced Freedom High School to postpone its baseball and softball games with Heritage today until Wednesday.

JV softball with Broad Run and JV baseball with Heritage have also been pushed to Wednesday.

News: Loudoun Schools Turn 2-Hour Delay into Full Closure

(Jan. 27, 2010) - Loudoun County Public Schools officially extended its unofficial semester break one more day with schools being closed Friday. That makes four straight days out as Tuesday was a Teacher Workday and the next three days were claimed by the snowstorm and its aftermath. The first semester came to an end on Monday so the second semester now starts Monday, Jan. 31.
