British Open champion Louis Oosthuizen, who stepped down from 6 million this week's Open golf event in Singapore because of an injured left ankle embarrassing.
South Africa ended a one-month absence to return to the WGC-HSBC last week's Champions event in Shanghai, however, scores of 69, 80, 80 and 72 left well down the field.
Oosthuizen told Reuters he would prefer to rest and receive treatment in Dubai. Withdrawal if deprived of the possibility of obtaining the four years of great champions in the same area.
