International Cricket Council has extended the preliminary squad of 30 players Pakistan is due to expire in the next World Cup until January 5.
ICC spokesman Samiul Hasan told The Associated Press on Thursday that the Pakistan Cricket Board has requested an extension.
All other teams are the teams to provide cricket's governing body on Sunday. Integrity Committee of the PCB said on Wednesday it needs more time for further studies related to the clearance of the players.
The ICC has suspended three players of Pakistan cricket on the "attachment point" charges. Their hearing is next month in Doha, Qatar. Co-hosted the World Cup in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, and begins February 19.
