The Two Towers (NYSE: TEX)

NEW YORK Terex Corporation is up over 3% in late trading. The stock is surging higher due to its strong financial position and being one of the few stocks to not rally off its recession bottom. The company has also promised that it will double revenues by 2013. Terex whose origins are from General Motors whom the U.S. government required them to spin-off their construction division in the 1960's has seen tremendous growth over the past 10 years due to emerging market growth. Terex translated from Latin, literally means Earth King, and just like Aragorn in Lord of the Rings this King is still not known but this time it is by the stock market. If put into movie terms, the Two Towers is now in theaters as we await The final chapter The Return Of The King.
