City to drivers: MOVE IT!

(Photos by David Greene)

Bronxites who had not yet moved their cars since the NYC Department of Transportation suspended the rules on January 20, had to dig out and move their vehicle on Feb 7. Drivers who did not faced a $65 summons in Manhattan and $45 in the outer boroughs. One Morris Park family held an unusual yard sale, offering their snow for sale but have not yet found a buyer. The winter may not be over but there is light at the end of the tunnel, as pitchers and catchers will begin arriving for spring training and the 2011 baseball season on Feb. 19. This driver attempts to free his car a week after the last snowfall.
