June 1, TORONTO, ON – PNH Innovations is excited to announce a partnership with Dave Jacombs racing featuring a trio of standout drivers in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. The large format digital printing company has an agreement to work with Andrew Ranger, Alex Tagliani, and Isabelle Tremblay for various events in 2011.
“There’s no better team to work with than Dave Jacombs Racing,” says PNH Vice-President, Business Development, Court Armstrong. “It’s key for us to partner with a team that represents our commitment to excellence, and we’re working with two of Canada’s hottest drivers.”
Tagliani made headlines worldwide with his pole position at last month’s Indianapolis 500. He was the first Canadian in the event’s 100-year history to lead the Indy field to the green flag.
Fellow Quebecois Ranger is Canada’s hottest NASCAR driver. The two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion seems to shine in the biggest events. The popular racer claimed victories in two of the series’ most exciting finishes ever – in Trois Rivieres atop rival Kerry Micks’ car, and in Montreal with a daring last-lap pass. He also won on the streets of Toronto in NASCAR’s inaugural event there.
“Andrew Ranger and Alex Tagliani are proven winners, and Isabelle Tremblay will do a great job helping to promote our brand. We can’t wait to introduce the fans to our product at this weekend’s Grand Prix ICAR near Montreal.”
This weekend’s Grand Prix ICAR will feature Ranger driving a Dodge Challenger with primary sponsorship from PNH. PNH will also be the primary partner on Ranger’s Toronto effort for the second year. Tagliani and Tremblay’s entries will both be wrapped by PNH, and there’s a great chance one of Jacomb’s cars could win this weekend’s inaugural race
“We feel confident that one of our wrapped cars could win in Mirabel,” says Armstrong. “Our head office is located very near Circuit ICAR. It will be great for our marketing efforts to see our three drivers represent us.”
PNH branding will appear on Tremblay’s car for 10 events this season. Ranger will compete at the Grand Prix ICAR as well as on the streets of Toronto in July where he will attempt to defend his 2010 win. Tagliani will race the Grand Prix ICAR and on Montreal’s famed Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in August.
