Football: Stone Bridge Finishes Fifth 10-0 Regular Season in Eight Years

(Nov. 6, 2010) - When Stone Bridge High School football coach Mickey Thompson was asked a week ago if this was his most talented Bulldog team in the 11 years since he started the powerhouse program in Ashburn, he hesitated, smiled, and then said: "They are just like any of my other undefeated regular season teams if they go 10-0."

That is a luxury the Bulldogs have as Stone Bridge did indeed

Football: Stone Bridge Moves up Freshman, JV Games with South Lakes to Tonight

(Nov. 3, 2010) - In attempt to beat any inclement weather expected Thursday, Stone Bridge High School has moved its freshman and JV football games with South Lakes to tonight. The freshman game will start at 6:30 p.m. followed by JV at 8 p.m.

Volleyball: Beckham, Miller and Christensen Make First-Team All-Liberty District

(Nov. 1, 2010) - Christine Beckham, Amanda Miller and Amy Christensen were all named All-Liberty District first team in a vote of the district's volleyball coaches last week.

Langley's Kathryn Caine was named the Player of the Year and Thomas Jefferson's Charlee Johnson earned Coach of the Year.

Stone Bridge's Ryan Ackermann and Vanessa Paige were selected to the second team.

Softball: 2010 All-Liberty District Softball Selections

(May 19, 2010) - The Liberty District softball coaches voted on their all-district selections last night and Stone Bridge had four second team selections including a pair of freshmen, second base Niki Prince and outfielder Sydney Broderick.

Also second team for SB were juniors, shortstop Cori Prince, Niki's big sister, and catcher Beth Lewis.

Girls Soccer: Stone Bridge Sweeps Liberty District Honors - Skogerboe Player of the Year, Windows Coach of the Year

(May 17, 2010) - Stone Bridge High School finished the Liberty District girls soccer season unbeaten and the Bulldogs were rewarded wtih senior Jennifer Skogerboe being named Player of the Year and Bulldog coach Joan Windows was named Coach of the Year.

Besides Skogerboe, four other Bulldogs were named first team.
