CTCC’s first 2011 Webisode features Alex Healy

The Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship is pleased to announce that the first Webisode of the season is now online on our YouTube Channel and on our official Website.

Even though last year's Webisode series was a huge success, the President of CTCC, John Bondar decided to make some changes to the concept and take it to a different level. "This year, our Webisode series will be much more focused and much more in dept. Our goal is to present what truly reflects the passion of CTCC competitors", says Bondar.

Webisode 1 profiles Alex Healy of Alex Healy Racing. Last Season, Alex and his family made the decision to sign up with one of the most competitive teams in Canada, Lombardi Honda Racing, with the hope of competing for the Championship. It was a tough year for Healy as he was caught up and overwhelmed with the media attention around the team!

"Sitting in the big yellow Civic, under the big black tent with crew everywhere, media everywhere, I let it get to my head a bit. But this year, definitely much more humble and definitely determined to do really well this season", declares Healy.

To find out more about his story, watch the first Webisode by logging on to the CTCC YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/user/canadiantouringcar or on the Website's home page at www.touringcar.ca
