CORRECT: TMAO Snags renowned Chief Director for $2.2M

The Markets Are Open pounced on its new Chief Director, Simon H Roberts, a renowned businessman, strategist, and inventor. The 6-year contract begins on October 1, 2010 over which time the $2.2 million will be paid bi-weekly as an annuity.

Roberts will be taking the new Chief Director position. He specializes in various fields, including writing, business, technology, and science. Roberts started off as an editor for various journals. He moved on to work for a long-since failed magazine company: The Explorer. “You learn more from failures than successes.” Roberts said. “But you must take that knowledge and build a bullet-proof strategy that will never fail.” He has lived true to his words.

In 1985 Roberts completed his PhD in biochemistry. He turned his career around quickly and got a position working for General Electric. He later moved on to work as an executive in California-based tech start-up company, Altamira Software until it was bought out by Microsoft in 1994. For the next 10 years Roberts would jump from biotech company to software company in search of his passion. In 2005 Roberts picked up writing for his own column, The Daily Strategist, where he outlined business techniques and insight. Years later he took his works private, trading stocks in his free time, learning the ways of the market, before coming to The Markets Are Open to combine his skills for success.

“I cannot wait to start this new segment of my life.” Roberts, 57, told reporters, “With the Internet at hand, I am positive that I can contribute to the TMAO division and expand its reach vastly, educating people about business and the market.”

Co-CEO’s Allan Edwards and Andy “Raw” Kibbens were thrilled to have Roberts on board.

“This is an excellent turn of events,” exclaimed Edwards, “If TMAO was public right now, I’d be buying the stock aggressively.”

Roberts, who bypassed the ongoing interview process was fortunate to run into Andy Kibbens at a formal doctorate presentation.

“There were 12 other candidates to choose from - excellent candidates I may add. Surprisingly enough, Roberts wasn’t even in the running. But when we saw he was free, we jumped on him right away. It was an opportunity we couldn’t miss out on.” Said Kibbens.

Roberts met the rest of TMAO’s staff at the company’s quarterly outing.

“The truth is,” Kibbens joked, “Is that we don’t actually have the 2.2 million.” He chuckled. “But we’re positive that with Roberts’ help we will be able to greatly exceed that.”

“Roberts will be a great asset for our team,” reiterated Edwards, “With the worldwide push to be more open and to deliver results in real-time, we are shifting to a technological era. Roberts is the key factor is making this shift for us as smooth as possible.”

October 1st marks Roberts’ starting date. He will start by heading the editing team staff, as well as becoming the new Chief Director of Advertising Operations.
