Girls Soccer: All-Cedar Run District Teams Selected - Heritage Puts Four on First Team

(May 27, 2011) - Heritage High School, which has advanced to the Northwest Region girls soccer tournament, has placed four on the All-Cedar Run District team in a vote of the district's coaches.

Danielle Dentler, Natalie Perussault, Madison Flanagan and Caitlin Kick all made the first team for the Pride as did Loudoun Valley's Taylor Payne.

Boys Soccer: All-Cedar Run District Team Selected

(May 27, 2011) - Heritage and Loudoun Valley combined to place five boys soccer players on the All-Cedar Run District first team recently voted on by the district's coaches.

Softball: Cedar Run All-District Teams Selected

(May 27, 2011) - Heritage High School put two players on the All-Cedar Run District first team -- Ashley Crouch and Kayla Whoolery -- and Loudoun Valley's Katlyn Latka also made the first team in a vote of the district's coaches.

(May 27, 2011) - Battlefield High School dominated the Cedar Run District 2011 baseball team selected by the district's coaches. Heritage placed six players on the second team.

Track and Field: Loudoun Valley Girls 2nd at Cedar Run Meet; Heritage Boys, Girls 3rd

(May 26, 2011) - The Loudoun Valley High School girls track and field team took second at the Cedar Run District meet last week behind power Battlefield. The Bobcats swept the boys meet as well.

Heritage boys and girls were third in the 5-team meet.

Boys Lacrosse: Heritage, Loudoun Valley Players Earn Cedar Run District Honors

(May 26, 2011) - Battlefield High School senior Ty Trobridge was named the Cedar Run District boys lacrosse Player of the Year in a vote of the district's coaches. Battlefield's Kevin Marsh was named Coach of the Year.

Basketball: Cedar Run Brackets Set, Loudoun Valley and Heritage Girls Play for Possible Regional Bid Tuesday

(Feb. 14, 2011) - The Cedar Run District boys and girls basketball brackets are set with the Loudoun Valley and Heritage girls meeting Tuesday in Leesburg with a probable Northwest Region bid on the line.

Girls Basketball: Loudoun County Clinches Share of Dulles Title; SB Fails to Clinch Liberty Title; Heritage Claims 2nd in Cedar Run

(Feb. 9, 2011) - The final week of the girls basketball season saw some teams clinching at least a share of district titles and others failing to do so as Loudoun County wrapped up part of the Dulles District title with a big win Tuesday over Dominion and Stone Bridge failed to get part of the Liberty District banner after falling to McLean in overtime on Senior Night.

Gymnastics: Loudoun Valley's Bramhall and White Help Vikings Qualify for Regionals

Leesburg (Feb. 3, 2011) - Jessica Bramhall and Victoria White both qualified for the Northwest Regionals in All-Around by finishing in the top four Wednesday at the Cedar Run District meet and the Viking duo helped Loudoun Valley High School move on to regionals as well with a second place finish behind champion Battlefield.

Swim: Battlefield Sweeps Boys, Girls Cedar Run District Meet; Heritage Girls Second, Boys Third

(Feb. 2, 2011) - Battlefield High School swam away with both the girls and boys titles at the Cedar Run District meet Saturday in Manassas. Locally, Heritage fared well with the Pride girls runner-up and the boys third.

Volleyball: Heritage Setter Stephanie Yorkoyama Named Cedar Run Player of the Year

(Nov. 9, 2010) - Heritage High School junior setter, Stephanie Yokoyama, has been named the AAA Cedar Run District Player of the Year.

Yokoyama led the Pride to a regular season and tournament title with a current 20-2 record. Pride coach Carmel Keilty was named Coach of the Year.
