Youth Sports: Boys Basketball - Flexx All Stars 4th Grade Goes Undefeated in Spring League

(June 7, 2011) - The Flexx All Stars, an Ashburn and Lansdowne based AAU basketball program, added a 4th grade team to their organization this year and the team finished the Triple Threat Spring League regular season undefeated with a 7-0 record.

Basketball: Middleburg Academy Junior Alie-Cox Makes Verbal Commitment to VCU

(May 27, 2011) - The Richmond Times-Dispatch is reporting that Middleburg Academy junior Mo Alie-Cox has verbally committed to one of the hottest basketball programs in the country, VCU.

The 6-foot-6, 251-pound Alie-Cox averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks a game this past season.

Boys Basketball: LTT 10th Grade Gold Wins Division II State Championship

(May 26, 2011) - The Loudoun Triple Threat Gold 10th Grade boys registered an impressive 5-0 record in Richmond to win the 2011 Virginia AAU Division II State Title.

News: VHSL Appeals Subcommittee Denies Western Albemarle and Fluvanna County Appeals; Affects Region II Basketball Seeding

(Feb. 14, 2011) - Woodgrove High School boys pulled off the Valetine's Day Surprise with a 69-67 win over No. 2 seed Broad Run Monday and the No. 5 Park View boys also won on the road, beating Loudoun County, 77-69.
