Fans of Calcutta is not the only ones left heart broken by the ICC decision to move the World Cup match between India and England from Eden Gardens, the English players are disappointed they would not be playing on the site.
Yesterday, the ICC has decided to move the fight to the Garden of Eden, after the stadium does not meet the date of completion of renovations. The emblematic 100,000 capacity will not accommodate Feb. 27 game because of concerns about the "business of cricket, media, broadcasting facilities and sponsorship."
English pacemaker Stuart Broad said he was disappointed that the game was pulled from the earth. "Shame Garden of Eden is not ready for the World Cup, our match against India, have been special with more than 100,000 crowd," general wrote in his Twitter page.
