Steelers Lucky Arians Was Fired Only Temporarily

It was a little over a year ago, reports surface that the Pittsburgh offensive coordinator Bruce Arians Steelers was fired.

Arian essentially a job for a matter of hours before the situation has been flattened. Rooney family felt that the offense had fled to run the game too, and there was not much happiness in Pittsburgh with the offense, according to a league source.

Coach Mike Tomlin has interceded Arians, name of origin. Fast forward to today and the Steelers are preparing for a trip to Super Bowl XLV of the offense humming right along, and Pittsburgh re-run the ball with conviction.

Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 121 yards on 27 carries in the victory of the AFC Championship game over the New York Jets. In a 60-yarder that led to a field goal in the second quarter, the Steelers did not pick up a meter in the air.

Thus, the running game is healthy again and now out of contract Arians, the Steelers what some companies take care shortly after the Super Bowl. Arian was well known for helping Pittsburgh to a 3-1 start when quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was suspended to start the season. A case can be made in 12 starts has been one of the best seasons of Roethlisberger, too, as he threw 17 touchdowns with only five interceptions.

The Steelers are the ultimate prize in front of them. Arians are the Lucky Ones was out only a few hours. Now we must work to ensure that it remains, especially to talk with defensive coordinator Dick Lebeau could retire.
