Champions Estudiantes Make Winning Start

Argentina Estudiantes defending champion made light of the loss last week to coach Alex Sabella with a 2-1 victory over Newell's Old Boys in the opening match of the Clausura championship on Friday.

Velez Sarsfield, Estudiantes, a finalist in the Apertura championship in the first half of the season was two goals down to draw 2-2 with Independiente.
