Scotland Coach Robinson Eextends Contract Through 2015

Scotland coach Andy Robinson has committed his long-term work on Wednesday by agreeing to extend his contract until after the World Cup 2015 -.

Ex-England coach, whose previous contract expired in 2012, was appointed in 2009, after the departure of Frank Hadden.

"I am very proud to be a coach in Scotland, and I am very pleased that the excellent work already begun will continue until after the Rugby World Cup in 2015, he said in a statement.

"I am very pleased with the progress made by Scottish Rugby in recent seasons and has the full confidence of the Scottish professional teams continue to play an important role in supporting success for Scotland.

Robinson led Scotland to test the two impressive victories over Argentina in June and followed by against world champions South Africa in November.

They face Wales at Murrayfield on Saturday, after their Six Nations began with a loss of 13 points in France, in Paris.

"I said when we chose Andy back in 2009 that would bring success to Scotland and I have every reason to expect that Scotland will continue to improve in years under his leadership, "Scottish Rugby chief executive Gordon McKie of the words.
