Leesburg (Dec. 20, 2010) - The Virginia Elite volleyball club is reporting that Heritage High School senior standout Lian Bernett has verbally committed to play next year NCAA Division I Coastal Carolina.

Bernett, an opposite hitter and a member of VA Elite 18s Team, is the sixth member of the VA Elite 2011 Class to commit and will play in the Big South for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
