Scottish Club Beats FIFA, Former Player

The Scottish club Inverness Caledonian Thistle beat his former player Marius Niculae and FIFA in a compensation case in the highest court in sports.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport, says it has confirmed the club's appeal and reversed the panel decision Dispute FIFA, initially granted part Niculae transfer taxes paid by Dinamo Bucharest in 2008.

Inverness says on its website that Niculae said he should get a reduction of 30 percent, amounting to £ 130,000 ($ 206,000;? 154,000) contract.

The club argued that Romania was in front and broke through against their will. Niculae has scored 10 goals in the Scottish season to win a European Championship 2008
