Alex Ovechkin practice again with the Washington Capitals after taking a week off to recover from an undisclosed injury.
Ovechkin was back on the ice Monday and said he was "ready to go" for Tuesday night's game against Carolina.
Coach Bruce Boudreau is safer, "said Ovechkin skated well and can be left at the end of the week.
Ovechkin has missed three games with the injury, which Boudreau is described as a "nagging ailment." The Capitals have decided to sit so he could be healthy for the playoffs.
