Redhead, which has seven depots in the UK, Ireland and France, will target businesses across the south from both its Burton-on-Trent and Basildon facilities in an effort to secure new business from companies that require a quick, efficient and tailor-made way to freight goods to destinations across mainland Europe, Ireland and further afield.
Austin Duffy, marketing manager at Redhead International, said:
“We already have a reputation as being one of the most respected freight management companies in the country, particularly across northern England. We want to further build on this reputation in the central and southern regions of the country, at the same time re-enforcing our commitment to meeting the ever-increasing diverse needs of our customers.”
Redhead has appointed a new sales manager, Keith Parsons, to oversee the planned growth. A seasoned hands-on professional with over 20 years experience in the freight industry, Keith will be based in the Burton-on-Trent office.
Commenting on his new appointment, Keith said, “I am delighted to have joined Redhead International and look forward to the challenges of expanding the company’s customer base throughout the central and southern regions.”
Redhead has scheduled services to over 40 countries across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.
