Australian Adam Scott won Singapre Open for the third time, completing a 3-in 68 finish in Monday for a three-stroke victory over Denmark Anders Hansen.
Scott, also winner of the Sentosa Golf Club in 2005 and 2006, finished at 17-under 267th He played the final 10 holes on Monday after the last round was suspended Sunday because of darkness after long period of rain.
"It's fantastic," Scott said. "Relief is finally done. It was a bit throughout the week." I was not putting my best lately and demons began creeping into the back nine. But it is a course I love, and I played so many beautiful photos here.
"Hansen, two-time winner this year on the PGA European Tour, also closed with a 68 in the event sanctioned by the European and Asian tours.
He missed a 20-foot birdie on the 15th hole. U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell (70) and Rikard Karlberg (67) tied for third at 13 under.
