A $12 million libel actions filed against BALCO founder Victor Conte $ boxer "Sugar" Shane Mosley has been rejected.
The New York Daily News reported that the case was "voluntarily dismissed with prejudice and without costs, expenses or attorney's fees by one party against another.
" That's according to a document filed Friday in New York's Manhattan Supreme Court .
No terms were given. A case dismissed with prejudice can not be represented. Mosley has sued Conte in 2008, accusing him of lying when he said several times world champion of the division of three former knowingly taken illegal drugs to improve performance.
History of Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative has been at the center of the scandal that involved Barry Bonds and many other athletes. Mosley said he unknowingly used steroids produced by BALCO.
