First half goals from Kenny Miller and Vladimir Weiss secured a 2-0 win on the injury-hit Rangers against Aberdeen on Saturday.
Although not as strong as the champions Celtic 9-0 Aberdeen contempt last weekend, defending four points clear of their Glasgow rivals at the top of the Scottish Premier League. Celtic is a St. Mirren on Sunday.
Rangers manager Walter Smith was able to name six instead of seven substitutes allowed. Maurice Edu and Sasa Papac had already been ruled out, and Kyle Lafferty was a late addition to the injury list.
Kirk Broadfoot and Steven Naismith also be picked up injuries on Saturday Ibrox. But Smith said that "we have a week break now and I hope that some of the injuries should be investigated."
