The big budget 3D sequel sees Pevensie cousin Eustace Scrubb (Will Poulter) join the returning Caspian (Ben Barnes), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), Lucy (Georgie Henley), Aslan (Liam Neeson) and Reepicheep (Simon Pegg) on a quest to save Narnia from an unfathomable fate at the hands of the White Witch (Tilda Swinton).
The first in the series to be distributed by Fox, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is directed by BAFTA Award-winning director Michael Apted (The World is Not Enough), who is also slated to helm follow-up The Silver Chair in 2012. Unless of course, this third movie finds itself completely overshadowed by The Deathly Hallows, not to mention 3D rival Tron: Legacy from previous Narnia distributor Disney.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is released on December 9th in the UK and lands Stateside the following day.
